Student Accounts FAQ

Student Accounts

Q:

What is a Student Account?
A:    A student account consists of the following:

UserID and PIN

Your UserID is your Social Security number and your PIN is a 6-digit number given to you by Registration and Records. These will be provided to you when you are accepted to the University and will be located on your acceptance letter. If you do not receive an acceptance letter, you can call the Office of the Registrar at (239) 590-7980 to have it mailed to you.

In case you have forgotten your UserID and PIN, you can stop by the office of registration and record with a picture id and request a copy. Or if that is not possible you call the office at 590-7980 and request to have it mailed to your home adress.

Username and Password

Once you activate your account, you will have an username and password to access the network, e-mail, and some web resources.

Student ID#

This is a fourteen digit number that is located on your Student Photo ID. This is used to access some Library Web Resources and to check out books in the Library.
