Favorite FGCU Moment:  The one moment that I can’t forget is watching every home game of our women’s basketball team, as they destroyed every team they played. I remember at the beginning of the season, only a few students & staff would come to the game & I would be the loudest mouth in the gym. FGCU Women’s Basketball became the #1 ranked team in the nation, won the South Region of the NCAA Tournament, and played in the National Championship Game, on ESPN. They ended up 34-1. Watching them had to be my favorite from the beginning to the end.

And if I could add another moment, it would be the peaceful walks at sunset on our campus. Our natural environment is so beautiful that people rarely take time out to enjoy it and it is a great stress reliever and very relaxing. Whether it is the beach of North Lake Village, Campus Recreation Waterfront, or the woods of the area, only then can you listen to yourself, your thoughts, and nature as well.  FGCU has been good to me and has helped me to mature as a person, inside out.
