As the Assistant Director, Cal is responsible for
the overarching leadership and administration of all new
student and family programs at FGCU. Cal also serves on
the University Convocation Committee and is a member of
the Student Union Advisory Board.
A Mississippi native, Cal earned an Associate of Arts
degree from Hinds Community College, a Bachelor of
Science in Recording Industry Management from Middle
Tennessee State University, and a Master of Arts in
College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State
University in Ohio.
Complementing his academic achievements and prior to
FGCU, Cal’s professional involvement in Student Affairs
includes coordinating Major Events at BGSU and serving
as the Senior Leadership Consultant for his national
fraternity’s headquarters for three years in addition to
many outstanding undergraduate leadership experiences.
Cal holds professional memberships in the National
Association of Student Personnel Administrators,
National Orientation Directors Association, and the
Association of Fraternity Advisors.
As an advocate for Greek Life on college campuses across
the country, Cal remains a dedicated national volunteer
for Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and appears on CAMPUSPEAK’s
facilitator roster as a dynamic risk management educator
and speaker. At FGCU, he proudly serves as Faculty
Advisor for Sigma Chi. |
