I am Charmaine Guerrine and I am a transfer student from Broward Community College in Ft. Lauderdale Florida . I entered FGCU in the fall of 2004 and it has been a joyful experience ever since.  Currently I am entering my senior year majoring in Elementary education. Some of my friends describe me as fun, outgoing, determined, and a person destined to shine! During my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, and singing. I thrive on involvement so I actively participate in activities and clubs at FGCU some of which have been FGCU voices of inspiration and praise choir, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and the Resident Housing Association. 

My experience here at FGCU has been remarkable. The people and opportunities that FGCU offers are endless. I am excited for what lies ahead in the future for me at FGCU and in my career. My long time dream is to become a wonderful 4 th grade teacher, and a person who continually gives back to the community. To all incoming students I encourage you to SEIZE THE DAY ! Use each day as a chance to learn, grow, and a chance to do the impossible!
